If you had to select one or two favorite resorts per state, which would it be and why? My husband and I travel to a different state each year for our anniversary. To date, we have visited FL (Key West), SC (Charleston), GA (Savannah), VA (Massanutten), MD (St. Michael's area), CA (Windsor), VT (Burlington), TN (Gatlinburg), MA (Berkshires), AZ (Sedona/Scottsdale). I'm starting my search for May 2010. I'm hoping that seeing locations that other enjoy may spark my interest in a location with which I am unfamiliar. We own timeshares that can be traded in RCI, RCI Points, II and TPI. Sometimes we take just a long weekend but if the location is a long commute/flight, we'll stay for the week. I appreciate any suggestions that you may have!

lamb: A coworker owns at Rangeley Lake Resort in Rangeley, Maine. We've thought about going there just to see the moose. Apparently, there is a site not too far away where the moose tend to gather. I can't tell you much more at the moment because he is off for a few days.

As we travel a lot we see some great places. One we have been to recently that struck our fancy as one we will return to is Wapato Point. It is located on Lake Chelan in Central Washington. It is in the heart of the apple country and depending on when in May you might hit apple blossom time which would be delightful. We traded thru RCI. Think they have multiple check in days. It is right on the lake and would be a hard trade during the summer season but not bad spring or fall.
