Fav Waiohai Island View Bldg and Villa #

We are off for two weeks to Kauai 8/16-8/30....yeah! :whoopie:

The first week we traded to KBC and rec'd a 2bd/2ba ocean view, from info I read here I req'd a Kahili center, high floor villa....was that the right request??

Also, when we stayed (& purchased) at the Waiohai 2 yrs ago we were in villa 7206, I'm not sure if that is an IV or OV as we were able to see the ocean from the right corner of our lanai....what is the general opinion (preference) of my fellow tuggers as to the better IV buildings and villas??

We have island/garden view and we like Hale 8 facing inside. It has a nice view of the property and is pretty close to the pools and beach. We like the 2nd floor because we can take stairs rather than the elevator (OK...we could do that with any floor but it is a long way to the 4th floor!!). We have never stayed on the ground floor. I know some people like it because you can just walk right out on to the grounds but we don't like all the foot traffic directly in front of the unit.

The most important thing is avoid the back of Hale 4; it is a parking lot view.

I like Hale One, third floor. There's a pretty good ocean view from the balcony, and the wind usually whips through there to keep things cool. Fourth floor has similar views, but no balcony overhead to make some shade.
