I have a room for my sister for F1. We have a 2br grand plus.

Looking at the circuit, the cars seem to go east on Harmon then north on Koval. Seems like a north facing room could catch the cars going north toward the sphere. Will south facing rooms have a view on Harmon?

Want to make a room request for her.

Yes, South facing rooms have a view of Harmon. Depending on the floor the view may be obstructed by the pool and cabanas, so the higher the better.

I was there last year for F1. I think the lower floors have much better views of Harmon. I had 2 lower floor rooms facing Harmon with great views and no obstructions. The lower the better as long as it is floor 10 and above. I watched the race from the room which was more fun and comfortable than the grandstands. I don't get why someone would want a higher floor. Then you are further from the action. Personally I think the view is better facing Harmon.

But what are you comparing it to? The rooms that face Koval should have good views as I would think they would see the cars come up past Elara and make the turn toward the start finish line.

plus is floors 40-45 (labeled 50-55) and can't change that.

if not a good view from the room it is ok. that wasn't guaranteed.

I am comparing the south facing view of Harmon to the north facing view of the sphere. Only the 2 bed corner unit faces Koval and he said he has the 2 bed grand units which only face north or south. I think the view would be good either way, but I think it's better along Harmon.

Yeah I see that now. I'd ask for a view facing Harmon if you can, but even the other side should have decent views too.

Got it. I was thinking something facing east toward Koval. Perhaps there aren't really rooms there except the corner. Certainly facing north isn't going to be very good. The part of Koval that is the track would be too far away.

Facing Harmon is probably better but they would be able to see the track around the Sphere if they faced the other way. I think it's going to be win/win. They will feel the energy and hear the cars from the room.

I would, though, try to get them access to the "Elara Terrace Party" -- last year they were selling that access for $100pp for 3 nights but it required attendance at an update (my experience was the update was proforma at best -- seems like the sales office new the audience they had for that period. The Elara Terrace Party was awesome.
