I read on the HGVC web pages that there are extra perks you can use your HGVC points for like RV's cruises etc. I cannot however any more information on this part like point "prices" or rules/deals for any of it. Does anyone have any info available?

I have had an excellent experience cruising with HGVC. My next cruise will be in about 5 1/2 months. Hilton trades very well in RCI as well. I would agree that cruising may not be as cost efficient as a TS stay, however, the points are renewable every year and I think it saves you money over a 4-5 year period of time. We have been with HGVC since 2001. I don't like driving on my vacations so I would not consider an RV vacation at this time for that reason. However, if you are into an RV vacation, there is no question that renting an RV on your own rather than using HGVC points would be a much more cost effective option. On the other hand, if you want an RV vacation and you don't have the cash readily on hand, the points would come in useful.
