We will be going to Ocean Pointe in West Palm Beach in Feb. and have been checking airfares. If we leave a day earlier the flight is considerable less. Any information on where to stay for 1 night before heading over to Ocean Pointe would be great.

We've been in a similar situation. The Palm Beach Gardens Marriott is a good location to spend a night before venturing down to OP.

Marriott's Ocean Pointe
Marriott's Grande Vista
We did the same thing one year - stayed at that Marriott the night before. Then, in the AM, pack up and check out, head on over to OP. You can tell them you are there , they will give you a parking pass and some towels and you can spend the day at the pool/beach while waiting for the room to be ready. Just leave your luggage in your car. Like getting an extra day at the resort.
