Several years agoI gave them 2 BR lockoff at Dolphins Cove for Spring break to rent for $1,500. They rented Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for $1,000. Said I could use other days. A couple months later sent me a check for $600 which did not even cover MF of $700. Had a couple cold Coronas and said never again.

Like their other programs such as cheap cruises and you can use points to pay MF at $210 per 100K.

Did you check last call, get-a-ways and Wyndham dumps?

Thanks for the heads up. I was not as big a risk taker as you are. I used a Friday and Saturday night on June 1. If they do not rent it, it is one of the ones we regularly use as a weekend getaway.

When I booked the reservation for National Harbor, I asked if they rented 2 bedroom presidental units. They said they did. I went ahead and tried it. They said it would go into the inventory probably by today. I checked today. It did make it to the rental inventory.

I called the reservation number and did not mention that I was the person renting the unit through Extra Holidays. Was advised that they will not rent presidential units. I then explained I was the one renting through Extra Holidays. Their final position was as their initial one, they will not rent presidential units through Extra Holidays. They refered me to the owners listing section who was of no help. Since they will not rent the presidential unit, I went ahead and cancelled the reservation. I am glad the rental group told me they would not rent the unit this early. At least someone in Wyndham was honest.

The cancelation process went well.
