So I'm a new fan of the Extra Holidays website! :) I booked my first stay with them this morning after looking at all of the different resorts on the site for a while now and I found 2 nights in a 1 bedroom at the Club Wyndham in Oceanside, CA for $40/night after tax. Since this resort is only an hour south of me, it's a really great deal for a mini-vacation on the beach!

That being said, I've been having some difficulties trying to figure out how their availability is calculated on Extra Holidays. Some resorts (like the Club Wyndham Oceanside) have availability months in advance, all the way out to May 2022 where some only have availability through the end of November 2021... Is there any science to how they show availability? Is it generally released 60-90 days in advance or 3 calendar months rolling? I'd like to figure this out so I can be there when availability opens for some resorts and take advantage of the open calendar dates. TIA for any insight!

when I look I don't see anything less than $134 per night for midweek in January there.

That’s what I’ve been seeing everytime I checked but they had one, one bedroom unit for only two nights they were obviously trying to get rid of… I think the key is to just keep checking.

There’s still one night for $32 on there for October 21st, but you’d have to book two nights. Good luck!
