I'm here at Parc Soleil this week. I had an open season ressie for 3 nights and we decided we wanted to add an extra night but we decided on the last night before check out. The weather has been so great we were even able to get in the pool and usually I never get in the pool in winter in FL since I'm almost a native Floridian and we don't do winter pool.
Anyway, The resort is sold out but the manager Jeff, went out of his way to accomodate us and made sure that we had a late check out and that if someone was a "no show" that we would be the first to be accomodated. Happy to say that he made it happen for us and we were able to extend our stay by an extra night with a last minute cancellation.
I really love Hilton. They're definitely a class act. BTW, this resort is beautiful. It's full and you can't even tell. Much better than at I-drive where I own where you come back to the resort late at night and can't find a parking spot. At least here they put in parking garages so you don't have to schlep 4 buildings away. The resort only has two towers right now but the rooms are really nice and you have everything you need already in place. I'll be coming back to Parc Soleil from now on.
I don't know if this is standard for Hilton since I've never done it before but they definitely treat owners nicely. I feel so special.
