Hoping someone familiar with OTA or Wyndham sales in general can help.

My in-laws are visiting Old Town Alexandria resort and sat through a presentation yesterday. They were not interested in buying, as I help them with timeshare rentals when they travel. They were lured in by the promise of freebies by sales. They went depsite my advising it may not be worth the time and possible pressure.

My MIL called last night to tell us that they declined at the end but did still receive a free full week at a Wyndham anywhere in the world and a $100. gift card (AMEX?) or similar. No strings attached.

Would someone clarify or speculate what they really received as I'm still sceptical, as it seems many TUG members have not indicated they got much for enduring Wyndham presentations?....thx.

The gift card I believe...pretty standard actually. The free week anywhere? Little tougher to go with that one. I suspect a string there...like a requirement to sit through another presentation.

I got a weekend from DRI plus the Gift Card

OF course they tried to schedule me for my "mandatory" presentation when I checked in, but my certificate clearly said no presentation required

I also received the $100 AMEX prepaid, wasn't offered or did not see any mention of a free week. My presentation was also yesterday.
