Expiring Points

Madge: I am a new RCI Points member and have a question. I purchased a TS and paid the 2006 MF that will have 34,600 annual points as of 8/1/06. Also the account I assumed has 34,600 points that were banked from 2004 and none from 2005. These points will expire 7/31/06.

My question: Must these points be actually USED by 7/31/06 or must a reservation only be CONFIRMED prior to 7/31/06 for use at a later date. Example, could I confirm a reservation, prior to 7/31/06 for a week in November or December of 2006 and use the points due to expire 7/31/06. Thank you.

Mike,

The actual travel dates reserved must begin prior to the expiration of the points. However, if the points were never extended by the seller, you may be able to purchase an extension for another year.
