I own a kahana villa resort timeshare in Maui Hawaii. I has been paid off and I haven't used it for many years. What are the consequences if I stop paying the fees. It's been nothing but a burden. There should be a law against making you pay for property that you cant acces at will. For example, I paid off my home and the land. No one can tell me that I can't go on my property because it's not available at the time that I want to access it. So how can these timeshare companies get away with it. Yes its probably in small print somwhere in the million contract paged that you signed when you were exhausted from hours of sitting through pressure sales while young and naive. How is that lawful. When I purchase the agent said "Your purchasing a piece of land". I pay taxes and fees but it's not my land obviously. Can we start a class action lawsuit or take legislative action? Thank you
