I am a new owner of a large Wyndham points package (1M annual at BH)

I live on the west coast and my Wyndham options are limited. What is the process of exchanging for WorldMark, or do I just need to use an exchange like RCI and finding something? Thought there might be a better way.... Greg in CA

Are your Wyndham points VIP eligible? Did you purchase direct or convert in such a way that they are eligible toward VIP benefits? If they are there is a program to exchange through Wyndham with Club pass for a $99 exchange fee 9 months prior to check in. So it wouldn't have prime availability that Worldmark members could book when their window opens but it would likely be more than what you could book through RCI.

There are some resorts that have both Wyndham and Worldmark inventory. In those cases you could book the wyndham inventory/units just like any other wyndham property.

Be aware also that certain WorldMark resorts are extremely hard to book - even for WorldMark owners. (Limited number of units, and/or high demand.) Are there any specific WM resorts you're interested in booking? That may help others to direct you in the best way to book those resorts.

One way would be to find a worldmark owner you can trust to book what you want in exchange for what they want in the wyndham resorts. As mentioned before some resorts are hard for us to book even at 13 months out. TUG has a direct exchange section in the marketplace where you list what you have and what you want in return. The advantage in my mind is the major savings in fees charged by II and RCI. Most people here can figure out what would be a fair exchange value. I have done this a few times and it always worked out well.
