Exchange via RCI missing

Logged on tonight to HGVC site and thought it weird that my point total for 2012 is now back up to 7000.

I had booked a DVC exchange for this June using 4800. Have the confirmation that I was emailed from HGVC RCI.

Looking on the RCI portal it doesn't show the exchange/deduction of points either.

Will call HGVC first thing tomorrow......if exchange is gone I will be very upset.

I'd guess that DVC blocked it somehow, for some reason, but clearly, communication and transparency is lacking.

Just called and HGVC rep said she could see the exchange confirmation. Read me all the pertinent information but I still don't see it online.

Rep said something about I put in my request in July, system was upgraded in October, confirmation came through in November that's why I can't see it.......okay whatever......as long as I have the exchange.

Clearly system need to be upgraded to save people stress.

A couple summers ago when we went to Orlando I booked 1 week on points and the 2nd week on the Weeks side of the reservation system and the points reservation has never shown up on my RCI portal but the weeks stay was there. I think it has been an ongoing issue.
