I noticed that you've asked about several of these companies - there is a very simple rule of thumb with timeshare business offers: NEVER PAY AN UPFRONT FEE - PERIOD!
This seemed different. I stalled so I could get some feedback from this site. The Florida Special Olympic website lists them as a sponsor making them appear to be helpful. They wanted $289 for their legal package and $27 shipping.
As Denise said, do not pay any upfront money. It may not seem like much, until you add in the other thousand or so people who thought it wasn't much.
FWIW, just about any business that advertises in a brochure or otherwise pays an organization money could be deemed a "sponsor" so that doesn't mean that they're legit.
I received a call from the Comsumer Advocacy Group, but the caller id said Exchange International. They also wanted to help me file a complaint with FL. When I told them to stop wasting time and get to the point and tell me how much it was goint to cost upfront, the rep got very hedgy and aggresive. He wanted to pick points and banter at my rudeness (I am never rude--not made that way--perhaps he meant "direct").
When I said I wasn't interested and hung up, he called back to argue some more! Get the hint! And don't give them your money.
