Ever hear of selling just half of a two bedroom lockoff at V.V. in the Berkshires?

I won an EBay auction for a one bedroom at Vacation Villages in the Berkshires, week 30 for $1. The price is right, great resort. I know I will use it myself but the resort only has two bedroom lock offs as far as I know. The maintenance is quoted at $640 which is right for a 2 bedroom. I am having the seller research this before I send money. I think there is a mistake in the listing.Anyone ever heard of selling half of a lockout unit????

Most resorts do not allow you to sell 1/2 a TS. Generally, You can't own an annual TS and sell half off as an EOY TS. OR You can't sell the lock off of a 2 bd lock-off.

You can't split a deeded unit or usage to sell...

Normally, only the developer has the ability to do this.. Not sure exactly why (some of the legal eagles can respond to that)- but that is the rules!

Same goes for point programs- you can't sell just a portion of your points from a deed
