Planning a trip to curacao and am looking at flights with Insel out of Miami. Has anyone ever flown this airline? The price is right for when we want to go and the flight times are not bad either. Can't find good info on checked or carry on baggage, tho.
Can anyone give me some guidance here?

Flew them from AUA to CUR and back last spring. By no means a luxury airline, but that flight was only 20 minutes in the air. Didn't feel unsafe and had no issues on either flight. The price in my flight didn't include departure taxes so I had to pay those at the airport (I knew this when booking). Since you are departing from the US I believe the departure taxes will be included in the fare you pay.

We also flew from AUA to CUR & back last June/July. The flight was fine, for a relatively small aircraft. Our one problem was that we were hit by an extra tax/entry(exit?) fee when returning to AUA. My feeling was that this fee should have been included in our airfare...or that Insel should have informed us of the need to pay extra $ to get back to AUA, and done so at the time we purchased our tickets. I don't recall the amount, but I think it was on the order of $50 for 2 adults. This apparently is related to Curacao and Aruba now being completely separate governments.
