I just had a $20.99 charge on my Veriazon phone bill. This is the second time it has ocured.
Did a seach on them, =third party billing
First called Verizon, they are required to do this, by whom I asked, no answer.
Next called ESBI, they too are a billing agent, passed me to the biller, Internet Business Providers (orsomething like that)
How did you get my info, "when you answered a pop-up for a Wii or laptop".
Don't do that so how did you get my tel# etc, no answer.
I then went to Massachusets attorny general website to file a complaint.
I will not be paying this charge.
Has anyone else had these charges added on to there telepone bill?
By doing a Google search of ESBI, there are a lot of complaints.
This to me is very troubling, how about all the posible people who have no one to help them when something like this is just added to a bill?
I also sent this info to a consumer advocate at a local TV station so maybe they would look into helping someone who isn't on-line enough to know about this type of to me a scamming problem.
Maybe I'm over reacting, but I'm not too happy about this.
Plus when this was suppose to have been activated by me, I jad just gotten home after surgery and don't know if I was even on-line. If so I was on pain meds!
