We are leaving for Hawaii tomorrow and I was hoping to up size our studio using Eplus. No luck. I tried last year and did not have any luck either.
But I know that Hawaii in January is a busy time, so I have not given up on the idea of using Eplus again.

The Eplus expired at 9:00 PM Pacific time, and I was no longer able to search using my confirmed resort. I thought I could keep on trying till midnight, but that was not the case. Apparently the Eplus expires at midnight, east coast time the day before check in.

Thanks for the eplus info… I'm hoping to up trade for an August 2016 vacation that I have eplus on, I hope I will be able to trade up… I appreciate having the knowledge that this benefit of Eplus expires at midnight.

I was wondering what the deal on expiration time was.
Thanks for posting. sorry it didn't work out.

You could always call the resort and ask about a 'paid upgrade'
Don't know what resort, but couldn't hurt.

I was wondering how often you checked EpLus? I'm always relentless, checking multiple times per hour. I'd have my wife checking in between. The good stuff pops-up and is gone just as fast, because someone grabs it. Also, I usually do Marriot-to-Marriott exchanges which helps.

We're also leaving for Hawaii tomorrow. My eplus is apparently good through the rest of today. We are staying on Kauai and haven't found an upgrade that was workable for us but I have seen a number of Marriott 2br units on other islands and for other weeks.

I posted last night, we are leaving today. I think yours will expire at midnight eastern time today. Good luck.

It kind of makes sense that it is midnight eastern time since II is located in Miami. I wouldn't really expect them to program in the expiration based on the time zone that the member lives in. Simply too much effort. Easier just to use the system time.

Westin Maui and Westin Princeville just got bulk deposited last night. I was able to use eplus to retrade 1 bedroom Westin Maui. I always check Interval everyday morning, few times during the day, and before the bed, everyday in last 3 months.

Lot less demand for April/May. There have not been a lot of WPOVR the last few months. There was some around 59 days.
Good for you though! Takes a lot of careful checking.

It helps tremendously in advance, but for last minute E-Plus, I think EVERYONE can see everything. I know I've got some fabulous last minute E-Plus upgrades.

E-Plus doesn't always work out, but it's great when it does. We had two 3+ week trips to Hawaii last year, and we did them almost entirely with last minute Flex exchanges and E-Plus. With diligent searching (plus TUG alerts), we eventually got what we wanted for almost every exchange. Over a total of about 7 weeks, we spent about 6 weeks in nice 2BR timeshares (mostly MKO), 4 or 5 days in a lesser 1BR Waikiki timeshare, and 3 days in hotels using hotel points (our backup plan). These were mostly all during low season, but also included Christmas, which is busier.

I just bought the EPlus option for the first time. I was wondering if calling Interval directly to see if there is availability is any better than just looking on line. Do they see the same units we are seeing? The II rep I called a few days ago indicated that she could see more units than what I am able to see. Not sure if that is correct.

Thanks in advance.
