It’s been some number of years now, but we’ve always enjoyed the Candlelight Processional. We’ve done the dining package that guarantees you a seat, we’ve stood in the standby line that lets you hope to get a seat after the dining package folks have been seated, and we’ve stood in back of the theater just to listen for a bit. For those who are unfamiliar, a celebrity narrator reads the Bible verses of the Nativity, and a massed choir including professionals, CMs, and high schools sings traditional hymns and songs between verses. It’s the true Christmas Story!

I love it. We enjoyed it many times. It's a beautiful processional and the narrators are very good. Neil Patrick Harris was one of my favorites, also Amy Adams did a wonderful job. Of course, they are actors, so they are good at reading, but it really does touch my heart to be in that theater.

While we tend to enjoy the Candlelight Processional, but I personally think it is one of the most overrated things to do at Walt Disney World. The lines are long. You will likely have to sit and wait in line through one or two shows just to get in. Then you get in and you are forced to sit behind a tree way in the back. Whoop whoop. Their ADA seating is even worse. It is all the way at the back with multiple trees blocking the view. We sometimes still go, but we won't make it a priority this year. We enjoy the concert series shows better.

I tend to find the actors do better readings than the non actor narrators. NPH was great.
