Encore Program at Newport Coast

I purchased the "Encore" program at Newport Coast Villas in Dec, 2015. This is suppose to allow me to add my Marriott weeks to their destination program. It costed $1195 and came with a 4 day stay at any of 20 Marriott Vacation Club villas and 50,000 Marriott points. A sales pitch was a requirement of the stay. I have never received the email or literature to enroll my Marriott weeks. I have called the Marriott Newport Coast several times and been assured it would be corrected, but it hasn't. Has anyone else had a similar problem with the "Encore" program?

The encore pkg I got was just to come back to NCV and I had already enrolled my week so NO I didn't have problems.

I'd just be patient they will take care of you.

Was the week you were going to enroll purchased direct from Marriott or resale? If resale, was it bought before or after June 2010?

Have you logged in to your MVC account? Perhaps you are enrolled and no additional paperwork was needed?

I did this in Park City a few weeks ago. Got a confirmation email from Marriott a few days after and a couple days ago noticed I have a Marriott Destination Club II account set up for me. I have not received any paperwork or an email giving me a link on how to use the Destination Club Program.

Any 'rewards' we got with the packages we purchased were not awarded until after the package had been fully paid for and until after the Encore preview presentation (second sales meeting) had been completed. Maybe that is the problem?

Based on experiences posted here by others that bought packages that included enrollment, actually attending the presentation wasn't a requirement to be enrolled. They were enrolled shortly after paying for the package and likely past the rescission period.

I learned the name of the lady that is the administration asst that sends out the email and I have called and left a voice mail for her. I'm pretty sure this will fix the problem for me. I'm a big fan of Marriott Vacation Club. Hopefully, this was an aborition. Thanks everyone. It does not appear to be systemic based on your feedback. Thanks for you comments.

No. Enrollment occurs within a few weeks of contract, without the need to pay package in full.

Wonder why OP won't tell us when external purchase was? This could be the issue (pre and post 2010 weeks).
