Anyone ever stayed here. Just got a flex trade via II for a 3 bedroom over this Easter week. Not sure I am going to keep it. We already have Hilton Head booked in a two bedroom at Marriott's SurfWatch. I need to cancel the Emerald Grande week sometime today, but thought I would ask for oppinion on the resort/trade. The three bedrooms at the Emerald Grande look huge, but only one bed in each of the rooms. Also, I have heard the pools are small and not heated and having to take a water taxi to a sandbar that serves as a beach is not nice. Am I citing the oppinions of a few bad trip advisor reviews?

Thanks everyone for your thoughts, oppinions.

Too funny! I just posted in Exchanges. I just received an exchange for next summer. I think that the place looks awesome!! We are really pysched about it!

Look forward to your review if you decide to keep your week.

How funny. What did you use to get this exchange? I used WM points and sicnce Easter is now within 60 days, the exchagne is only 4k WM points, verses normal 12k required for 3 bedrooms.

I am going to cancel, but I posted on the sightings board first in case some wants to set-up an ongoing search for this.

We are already set for Easter week at a 2 bedroom at SurfWatch and then my sister has a hotel unit at the Hilton Main Street Inn (which I got through SFX) for Easter week. I could have cancelled everything and taken the Emerald Grande exchange instead, but it's a four hour longer drive from our home, I'm afraid the ocean will be cold, but mainly, our plans are already pretty solid for this Easter.

If I could have gotten a summer exchange I would have taken it, even at 12k WM points. The resort does look very nice and I think Wyndham bought the unsold units at this resort. I don't exactly like the beach situation at Emarld Grande but the the sandbar the resort uses as a beach does look pretty.

I was also a little surprised to learn none of the three bedrooms have a room with more than one bed in it. You would think at least one of the rooms would have a pull out couch in addition to a bed or two double beds. The bunk bed room in the two bedroom sounds great!

Have fun. If you could let me know what you used to get this exchange, that would be nice to know for future reference, as I own Marriott too.

Now, this is getting weird. I have a two bedroom Ocean Pointe 4th of July week reserved for this summer (2012). Checking in June 30th. Got that exchange using my Willowridge unit last summer.

...I looked at the plans for the bunk bed room, VERY NICE. Every bit as nice as the three bedroom unit Emerald Grande gives II. Great excange, I think.
