This resort is beautiful, BUT
We are in an "upgraded" condo, bay view. We cannot even use our balcony because of LOUD LOUD giant AC units just outside our living room and LOUD LOUD music and PA system just outside our bedroom. Wedding party going on too. We're here for only two nights and don't want to move--haven't asked to--but this is horrible. I'm posting photos of our "view."

USA! USA! USA!
We have been there many times and never had a problem like that. We have always had a wonderful stay. If you do not want to move then you have to live with the noise. I am sure they would move you if there are vacancies. Not all units belong to Wyndham and the resort is not managed by Wyndham.

Yes, Jim and Vickie,
We've been here a number of times in the past as well, with harbor views. (Well, parking lot views with the harbor off to the right). We like the space of the condo, the finishes, and the convenience to entertainment and dining. Thus, we chose this resort to take two high school exchange students (one from Finland and one from Norway) here to see some of America's "best."
Of course, if we didn't move, we knew we had to tolerate the undesirable view, noise, lack of privacy and security, etc. After getting here Friday afternoon, unpacking, and using the room only to sleep, we didn't want to repack and move for just one night. AND the two girls were off to the beach and then snorkeling, so my husb and I would be packing and moving them as well.
I DID ask, when we checked in, whether we had a bay view, as booked, and our bay view was confirmed.
The experience is worth noting -- for other Wyndham owners to be aware that staying on the GV level may not be a good thing. At first, we thought it would be because we could walk easily to the pool, restaurant, and bar on the same level, and we had easy elevator access to the shops, restaurants, clubs, beach shuttle, etc., without changing elevators and walking hither and yon.
I'm a Wyndham advocate. We like our points and use them A LOT. We aren't a couple to leave points on the table. We LOVE our vacations. That said, this one -- meant to give these kids a huge treat fell short for us. We still had a good time, but the AC units, the music speakers and PA announcements just by the bedroom were a downer for me.
Mostly all I want is to sit on the balcony and read a book or magazine.
This is a lovely resort. I don't recommend the GV level on the "bay" side.
By the way, I did notify the management via e-mail of the noise, and sometime yesterday, someone called and left a message that they would move us to a higher level if we wished. We'd escaped the condo and didn't get the message until later. But, I didn't want to pack anyway.
I'm sure this is all more than anyone wanted to know. I thought, though, that after my posting yesterday I should qualify.
Thanks for what all of you in this group do -- every day. TUG is my go-to resource in so many things,
Carole

Might want to try PCB next time, except spring break season of course. Right on the beach and excellent balcony views for that book reading :)
