Quoted from a letter I received from a "Lawyer" the other day.

"If your maintenance fees have increased, you have been issued a special assessment or you are simply not using your timeshare the way you had planned you may qualify for a new service to eliminate future payment of fees. Unfortunately, we cannot work with all timeshares and time is of the essence so please contact me at your earliest convenience to see if your timeshare qualifies for this program."

Anyone have any knowledge of this service?

The "service" is to charge you a high fee to either coerce the company to cancel your contract, find a taker for the contract, or sail it off into an LLC where the resort/club can't collect maintenance fees and will eventually foreclose.
