Elara, a Hilton Club

Stayin there the week of 9/15, I have a Quad Studio Plus. I guess the unit is on upper floors since it is part of "a Hilton Club" as distinguished from the regular HGVC. I know there is no w/d in unit but do they have a laundry service or facilities at resort? Thx!

There's a laundry room on the 9th (if I remember correctly) floor with 3-4 washers and dryers, all free.

We stayed in the 4 bedroom unit the beginning of July. It’s really nice with lots of space and a good layout.

One fun thing, close the window shade in the living room and use the TV projector to watch movies / sports on it (it’s included with the room).

Wish I had known about shared washers during our last visit. The combo washers in the room do not clean well and do not dry.

It is Las Vegas. Just hang them out on the clothesline tethered between the Marriott Grand Chateau and the Elara. Will dry in an hour.

seriously we washed our clothes in the washer then laid them on the window sill in the sun and they were dry that afternoon. including a pair of jeans.

We never stay in Vegas long enough to need to do laundry (typically 2 nights and we book the minimum 3). We do stay longer in Waikoloa and those machines work well. Not a good experience that the washer and dryer in Vegas don't wash and dry. As @CalGalTraveler said - they have one job...

We stayed in a 1 bed Hilton Club room earlier in the summer. The one bedrooms have full size washers and dryers. We did noted there was a laundry room by the elevators on our floor that had free washers and dryers for the studio units. That would save you an elevator trip downstairs to do laundry.

I know we're talking about the washer/dryer (or lack of in the studio), but I would also like to point out that I really liked the kitchenette layout of the Hilton Club studio. We actually used it quite a bit to reheat and serve leftovers from PF Changs and Rosa Mexicano downstairs. It was also perfect for making hot beverages in the morning and cocktails in the evening. My compliments to whomever deisgned these units. The 1-bedroom with the island kichen and THAT bathroom is an absolute showstopper.
