Hi all,

About to purchase another deeded week contract through Redweek. The ad on Redweek mentioned that the contract has some EEE points. However, after redweek sent the contract, it didn't specify anything about those EEE points. After asking Redweek, the agent replied that those EEE won't be transferred. I'm confused. This would be our 3rd contracts, and the first two had EEE points that were transferred. We didn't purchase them through Redweek though.

Anyone encountered this before through Redweek purchase? or did you get your EEE points transferred on purchasing a contract through Redweek?

Is it make any difference whether the current owner has 1 contract or multiple in terms of EEE points transfer? Do these EEE points go together with the Hyatt resale contract?

Thanks all and God bless!

The EEE points will be transferred if the owner will no longer have a contract, they will not if they have another contract. Here are a couple of examples:

1) Seller owns a week at Wild Oak Ranch and Highlands Inn. They deposit the points from Highlands Inn into EEE, they sell you the Highlands Inn week:

EEE Points (even though they are related to the contract with Higlands Inn) stay with the seller.

2) Seller owns a week at Highlands Inn only. They deposited their points into EEE, they sell you the Highlands Inn week:

EEE Points transfer to the buyer.

This makes a lot of sense! Thank you!
One more thing, is this still true when the seller owns another TS contract besides Hyatt?

Let say the owner owns Marriott Ko Olina and Hyatt Highland Inn. If she deposited the 2023 points into EEE and sells the Highland Inn contract, will the EEE points be transferred to the buyer considering she still own Marriott. Thanks again!

I believe that the points would transfer with the contract because “Corporate” interval accounts are separate from those where the owner pays the dues.

Hyatt accounts are always completely separate from other II accounts.

The reason it works as TravelHacker explained is that EEE points are still in HRC's possession. So if you still have at least one contract open after selling a contract, the account is still there - and you keep the EEE points.

EEE points do not get transferred to Interval until a reservation is made in Interval.

A bit confusing, but as usual follow the points and their HRC buckets.
