Thanks for posting this article. We have stayed at the Caribe Hilton and loved it. I feel very sorry for the people who were laid off. They all bent over backwards to make sure we had a wonderful vacation. This is the first time I have heard that Hilton was planning to build more 17 more Caribbean hotels.

We currenty have an RCI search for Barbados in January or February 2010 but have not yet heard anything. I know that Hilton has a large hotel resort in Barbados but we would prefer the TS experience.
