Economic Hardships during the Coronavirus Pandemic
~ Are you Feeling Helpless Because of the Pandemic ~

Have you or a family member lost income and are unable to pay bills?

Some Americans are having to surrender their pets to animal shelters, and some have even given up eating out & smoking since the Covid-19 pandemic .

Experts are optimistic about travel in 2021, but how can people make plans during these unprecedented times? Are you still considering going on vacation in 2021, or have you decided to cancel your (timeshare) vacation?

Have you asked yourself... When will it be safe to travel again?

Have you felt like giving up?

Eventually it will be safe. Boo hoo for the ones who have had to give up smoking and even eating out. Those are not essential.

Smokers prioritized for COVID-19 vaccine in Pennsylvania

Indeed, the state’s expansion to include those with underlying conditions — including smoking — is in line with CDC guidance for those who are considered to be at an increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19.

The inclusion of smokers in phase 1a follows a similar move out of New Jersey, where health officials opened up its coronavirus vaccine distribution to include residents ages 65 and older and those ages 16 and older who have at least one chronic medical condition, which the state also said includes smoking.

Well, since these forums are made up of folks well off enough to use Timeshares, maybe you are asking the wrong crowd? The examples you cite are truly First World luxuries.

Surprisingly, it is possible to have a full and productive life without any of this :) I am curious why you would mention smoking.

Q: Why do some Business People and News Reporters
still wear Dress Suits & Clothing that need to be dry cleaned.

For health and safety and to save money on dry cleaning
you would think, people would wear wash and wear clothing.

At least they could use disposable paper coverings over
dress clothes like the ones in doctors and hospital offices.

Have you or a family member lost income and are unable to pay bills? DD24 and her roommate-yes. It's very hard for working poor. Roommate had hours cut. DD can't find a job in her college town, so has had to move back to N Va, but luckily got her old job back. College in online, so she can swing that--still paying rent until July back at college. She has us as a safety net. Roommate has no one and only HS degree, so not a lot of options.

This is the time to hang in there! Don't get Covid fatigue. Plan trips that encourage outdoor activity--hiking, beach, etc. We cancelled some winter travel. But plan to drive to FL end of March-we will cook in condo, get take out, enjoy water/beach/pool outside. We socialize with friends--outside in driveway right before dark in coats. And watch A LOT of Netflix. Starting to think about Europe/Cruising in 2022! Not much planning needed-just recycling cancelled 2020 trips. I am fortunate and grateful to have a safe place to live and ability to telework.

So another category of businesses should disappear? I do my own laundry, but some classy outfits can’t be thrown in the washing machine. Why should we care what other people wear? If it benefits their career or self image, go for it! I don’t see any relationship to health and safety here.
