I forgot to mention, if you miss a day they also have a Facebook page where a number of people provide updates (and photos) throughout the day & night. It's a nice way to catch up on the activities at the nest.

Bump! It is that time of year again. Happy viewing!

Both parents in the nest right now! And I just saw the 3 eggs...cool.

Thanks for re-upping this one. I love to check in from time to time to see how things are going with the eagles.

I keep missing the egg shots. :D The other day we were watching eagles out on the east slopes of the Cascades. Beautiful huge birds.

Bill

I left it on most of the day. When the eagle on the nest screeched several times, my dog ran around the house looking for it. Then she came in to my office to protect me.

I did see 3 eggs in the nest when the mate returned and they switched places.

I did see the 3 eggs when the eagle repositioned herself. It look like there was a wind shift and the wind was now coming at the tail, so they repositioned to face the wind. You could see the eagle adjust the 3 eggs when they moved.

One of the eggs has now partially hatched - I just saw some fluff outside of the partially broken egg under the parent when it repositioned. Full hatching should happen any day now!

One has fully hatched!

I've seen it a few times today under the parent - seems like it would get squashed, but I'm sure it won't.

One of the adults is dressing out a small bird that it caught. Plucking the feathers out of it now. Will this be fed to the chick or be eaten by the adult?

It's feeding time right now for the chick!

Oh, I missed the chick feeding, it's tucked safely back in now. But I think I saw a black bear cub skipping along the road in the top left corner! It was there for just a minute before heading back into the brush …

I love this website. :)

OMG, there is a dead (baby?) bird next to the parent eagle in the nest. Not sure if it was dinner or one of the chicks died and was pecked apart. Saw a fuzzy baby under the parent. Someone is definitely controlling that camera while I'm watching.

Parent is off the baby and eggs, walking around. One baby, two eggs. Guess the other bird was dinner. Feeding time right now.

I guess you missed post 12. The dead bird was lunch.

I saw the chick flapping wings this afternoon. 1 hatched 2 eggs remaining. Now here is where nature gets interesting. The first chick eats first. With no siblings to share with. Once more mouths come, then there will less food, per chick. However the first chick out may still gain a size advantage and one of the later eaglets born, my pay the price for their tardiness.

There are now two chicks!

Feeding of two chicks going on right now, though it's hard to see as the parent's back is to the camera. It looks cold and snowy. Third egg still there.

No, I saw the post, but I didn't think there would be so much of the bird left. I guess it's cold enough that they are using it for multiple meals.

I saw two deer crossing the road below the nest last night. It's a really interesting live feed. Love watching it.

I saw two people cross the road yesterday afternoon. No deer for me. I guess another eye hatched overnight. And it snowed.

Woo Hoo.. Finally saw a chick being fed.

Clear view right now of both chicks and the remaining egg.

I took a screen shot of the eaglets and the unhatched egg.

I love the cute black masks across the babies' eyes!

Edited later: Ugh, what timing! An ad popped up right at feeding time! After the ad cleared I saw both parents on the nest and the 'changing of the guard.'

This has happened to me too - just when it's a perfect time one of those ads pops up. But that just means I have to come back later! I am so addicted to this, as I am every year - LOL!
