As a HGVC/RCI Neub, how come when I search on like my 10 favorites, nothing shows up, but if I click on just DV06 for SSR in my favorites, it shows those weeks available?

And is my cost correct if I want to pick up 1 of those weeks? $239 RCI week fee + $190 Disney Resort Fee = $429 + 3,400 HGVC Points ?

1 more question: If I want to pick up 2 of those weeks 5/8-5/15 + 5/15-5/22 -is there any savings on the RCI or Disney fee or it has to be booked separately?

Value comparison to being a DVC Member and deciding to stay at SSR
...using DVC points charts for a 1 bed SSR Standard, the weeks listed currently are "Magic" or "Dream" season so that's 227 or 213 points per week, using $15 p/point that's $3,405 or $3,195. Now I want to add in 1 more comparison, the Studio price for those weeks in a standard are 106 or 99, using $15 = $1,590 or $1,485. I did this comparison because if it's just my wife and I travelling, we could in theory just book a studio, do we truely "need" a 1 bedroom or is it just a nice to have since that is what is available. This trade seems like an excellent value to me. I'm not booking it at this point because we wanted to use our HGVC points at some HGVC properties 1st to check those out, but it's nice to know that can trade into SSR at a great value in my opinion

Q: As a HGVC/RCI Neub, how come when I search on like my 10 favorites, nothing shows up, but if I click on just DV06 for SSR in my favorites, it shows those weeks available?
A: Something is wrong with RCI’s website. Others have reported similar issues as well.

Q: And is my cost correct if I want to pick up 1 of those weeks? $239 RCI week fee + $190 Disney Resort Fee = $429 + 3,400 HGVC Points ?
A: Yes, that’s correct RCI exchange fee + DVC resort fee + HGVC points.

Q: If I want to pick up 2 of those weeks 5/8-5/15 + 5/15-5/22 -is there any savings on the RCI or Disney fee or it has to be booked separately?
A: Has to be booked separately. No savings and no guarantee rooms will be near each other

Many of those Saratoga weeks are still available. They certainly are not flying off the market as I would have initially guessed.

SSR is very large and generally one of the easier-to-get last resot sort of options due to size and location. It is a common fallback for DVC owners.

Cheers.

HGVC owners have a fixed exchange rates but most don’t.
RCI just increased rates for some of the DVC weeks in RCI Points and RCI Weeks which is causing the recent slow down.

They are basically asking for the RCI points cost of a 2 BR Bay Club for a 1BR at Saratoga, plus the Disney fees. Even at that rate I can see the value in this with my portfolio, but I can see it being a lot harder to justify or pull off for other RCI owners with lower value points properties than my Grandview.
