I am going next April. I have heard that RCI trade ins get the worse rooms. Is this true? Are all the rooms renovated? Thank you in advance.

I don't know what "worse rooms" would mean at this resort. It is small so nothing is far from anything else. The buildings are short (2-3 stories) and it is not surrounded by anything particularly interesting to look at so there are no views to speak of. One thing that does come to mind is that the 2BRs often only have 1 bath, and the 3BRs often only have two. The location is quite convenient to Disneyland---walking distance for me, not so much for my wife or my kids when they were younger.

Agree with bnoble. The 2 bedroom units in RCI will probably all just have the one bathroom. If you have a 3 bedroom, lucky you! There are no bad units at Dolphin's Cove at all, and the 3 bedrooms are all great.

Question on Dolphins Cove-
Do they charge a parking fee- and if so does obtain a unit through Wyndham or RCI?

We have a Disneyland trip planned but having trouble picking up an extra nights through DVC and I was hoping to extend our trip a bit by staying at Dolphins Cove.

No parking fees, and RCI has inventory right now. No washer/dryers in the units, but there is a laundry room that is free and is very nice and has great machines. I have gotten inventory through ongoing searches pretty easily. Plus, a lot of rentals on go-koala.com and Redweek, and most are not all that much more than it costs me to book with my WorldMark points.
