Does resort add taxes on top of the rent I charge?

I am preparing a flyer to post at work advertising our Mexico week for rent. I checked online so that I can include information comparing our price with the going rate at Orbitz, Hotels.com, etc.

I notice that most of those websites add taxes on top of their daily rates.

If someone rents from us, will they be charged additional taxes at the resort?

This may be a very naive question, but we don't have any experience renting, nor have we ever stayed at our own resorts. When we have exchanged through RCI, I don't recall paying additional taxes at the resort, but maybe my memory is bad.

I don't want to mislead any of my co-workers, so I need to know about taxes or any other charges they are likely to encounter once they get there.

Thank you for any advice you can offer so I can tell a renter what to expect.

Yoiu should contact your resort and verify all charges that will are or will be assessed.

Checked with resort and was relieved to learn that the only extra charge for us will be $25 to change the name on the confirmation letter.

At the resort, an optional gratuity will be added at checkout, but no taxes. It is good to know that my guests/renters won't be surprised by anything.
