Does it seen strange that you can't buy extra points?

It would really be nice if they would sell or rent you at least 10% of your point allotment so you can fill gaps. I've noticed with Hyatt, you can be literally 10 points shy and be out of luck. It also seems that with II you need 260 points minimum to make a hotel exchange.

They want you to buy more points. But yes, other systems I own will let you buy enough points to complete anything less than the last day’s worth of points, which is nice. So if a day is 20,000 points you can buy Up to 19,999 points to complete the reservation.

Not sure of your situation or what type Hyatt points you want or need, but I think (know?) Hyatt will let you borrow points from your next years allotment, but you have to pay the estimated next years maitenance fee (in advance) to get them. Not sure of all the conditions etc. SO:

Call Owner services or Member services and ask them. And thus I assume the info is in the club rules on the club website... somwhere !

Let me know what you find out.
