Does Hilton Aspire 14x and/or $200 Resort Credit count toward HGVC Embarc onsite room charges?

Specifically HGVC Embarc Panorama, BC but would be good to know for all former Embarc resorts. cc @cd5

I don't see any of the Embarc locations on the official list of eligible locations. Of course it still might trigger the credit, but if it doesn't I would not expect much help from Amex.

No, not that I know of. I currently only have one US credit card, it's an Amex HH with no fees but it does give 4x the spend (that was in Palm Desert). Let us know if it does when you go though.

Thanks. It is good to know that it gave you 4x at Palm Desert. That implies that we could expect 14x on the Aspire at that resort.

I just checked Hilton.com and Panorama is not listed. Perhaps it is not an HGVC yet? To be sure to accrue points, I will probably use a different travel card which gives me points unless I can find a small purchase to test at the resort. If so, will report back. Thanks again.

I think that @cd5 previously informed us that Panorama will remain Embarc branded (there are a few that won't be rebranded as HGVC). I don't why there is a difference with those resorts.

That makes sense. When you look at Panorama, the Embarc units are in separate buildings (Riverbend Townhomes, Taynton Lodge) but do not seem to make up the entire resort AFAIK https://www.panoramaresort.com/planning/lodging-at-panorama/

Perhaps HGV owns or leases condos out of a larger resort (akin to Trump Vegas) so branding a subset of units and making available on Hilton.com would not make sense because there would not be the expected Hilton check-in area and perhaps the larger HOA did not want Hilton branding.

Checkin for this resort certainly is different via a central checkin building. I assume that this central checkin is for all units at panorama.

You're correct. Panorama, Vancouver and Ucluelet are in resorts not fully owned by Embarc (Hilton) and cannot therefore be rebranded. Vancouver is at the Sheraton Wall Centre (owned by Marriott) for example. They absolutely would not accept having the Hilton brand in/on their building. In that case we do have our own check-in but all the staffing are Sheraton employees (front desk, housekeeping etc and the amenities are shared (pool, health club etc). Similar setup at the other two resorts.
