I am sending a friend to stay at Hyatt Vacation Club Desert Oasis in Indio CA while visiting her grandson who is stationed at 29 Palms. Does anyone know if they charge exchangers the $30.00 a day resort fee that they list on their web site?

We were at this resort the week of October 12 through the 19th and did NOT get charged the $30.00 per day fee. I somewhat expected that we would be, but certainly didn't ask about it. We also own at a couple Hyatt resorts, which perhaps makes a difference??? (We were there on an Interval E-plus exchange after our plans to go to Florida were disrupted by Milton.)

@sun starved Gayle - You will likely get more responses if you posted your question in the Hyatt vacation club - Welk timeshares subforum. This is the the Hyatt vacation club / Hyatt Residence club subforum.

I think there are some folks who look at both and may own / have access to both systems - but I know i don't look at the Welk subforum because I own legacy HRC and only have access to HRC. I suspect the opposite is true, also.
