I have a dear friend who was widowed a few years ago and her dh always dealt with the timeshare. I had trouble even getting her to figure out that is was QMClub and not Interval International that she owned.

I have only found a bit online..it seems to be deeded property but has access to multiple resorts in Nevada.

She doesn't use it and doesn't want it and I am guessing it has little or no value.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with the club and how easy or hard it is to get use out of it.

I've never heard of them. It almost sounds like a points-based, Right-to-Use system, despite saying it is deeded. Assuming it is the same as this company: https://qmresorts.com/qm-resorts-about-club-qm/

You definitely need to figure out what they have before you can assess whether to: use/keep, sell/giveaway/deed-back, or default.

Good luck.

The first timeshare we bought back in the 80’s was Thunderbird Resort in Sparks. It later became part of QM Resorts. After years of use, almost all II trades, we wanted to get rid of it. It had very little if any resale value, so I called them and they agreed to just take it back from us. They even forgave the small MF that would have been due for the year. It was an easy and smooth process. It’s hard to say if they still offer a deed back or points back program, but it would be worth asking about the possibility. Good luck.

Best regards.

Mike
