Watching grass grow is more interesting than baseball.
IOW, I could not care less about it, or games played here.

But they could make improvements:
-- trees, sand traps and water hazards.
-- automatic double if a ball lands within 8' of an alligator.
-- having to tackle, instead of polite touching, for an out.
-- stealing a base means carrying it with you.
-- delay of game penalties

.
Just let the alligators freely roam the field!

It is all about the money now. When I was a kid growing up in Philadelphia I'd go to a Phillies or A's game for 25¢ and players had jobs in the off season to make ends meet. Now the price of tickets and parking is outrageous so I refuse to attend games....

In the late 40s three of the Phillies young players rented a house down the street from me. We'd knock of their door and they would come out and play stick ball with us. Can you imagine any of today's prima donna's doing this...

I enjoy Baseball, in particular the SF Giants. I watch a few games a week on TV, and in a typical year attend at least 3 or 4 games a year. Last year i had even timed a one of our vacations to line up with a road game.

I often watch at least part of the All-Star Game, and probably will watch this year. That said the All-Star game is not that big of deal for me, and if I happen to have something else going on that night, then i will miss the game. I don't think i would ever consider traveling to attend the All-Star game in person...

As for sports and politics or some form of player protests, that does not really phase me. If i like the sport or event I will still watch it.

Will they still have a tribute to Hank Aaron? The whole point of having the game in Atlanta was for a tribute to Hank Aaron and how much he endured during his time on the Braves. And the city will lose a lot of revenue by having the game moved to Colorado for reasons that have nothing to do with baseball.
Very sad, people don’t even know what they are protesting.

I'm guessing Major League Baseball has some idea why they are moving the All Star game

Some baseball players even say that Hank Aaron would approve .... and not be sad

So will they honor Hank Aaron’s achievements at the All Star Game in Colorado?

I have no idea.

I probably won't watch the game. I'm not a big baseball fan however I hope the Nationals (former Senators) win in the regular season

Was the move an attempt to draw up hype about a normally lackluster event?

I used to have season tickets to the Class A local minor league team. I enjoyed the players actually trying all out all the time in order to move up. Haven’t watched a “major league” team in decades unless somebody gave me a free ticket.

Then the minor league team decided to put up netting from home plate to the outfield instead of just behind home plate. I dropped the tickets since if I want to watch performances in a cage, I go to the zoo.

Cheers

Each batter runs in a different direction. Leadoff batter runs CCW, #2 guy runs CW, etc.. Can't occupy the same base.
