I'd have to sleep with one eye open if I tried to put a sweater on either cat-- Mocha would disappear into the closet for days. And JB Orange Cat? Let's just say that JBOC did NOT like breakfast today, and didn't appreciate it being pointed out that in that case he could just eat his ever-present bowl of dry crunchies. He took his revenge by dropping a load in the middle of the bathroom floor. No, no sense risking the disapproval of cats.

Ted is a 100-lb 10YO arthritic yellow lab who, on a good day, sheds only enough hair to form a whole new puppy. If we tried to fight him to put a coat on him, no doubt we'd be going into business as a breeder.

Seriously, he fills the vacuum canister twice over every day, despite regular grooming and vet-approved supplements for his coat. It's a good thing we love him (and I don't mind vacuuming) because otherwise I'd re-home him to someone who wants to live among tumbleweeds. :)

Sorry, but it is beneath the dignity of any German Shepherd to ever be (...or ever be seen) in a "cute sweater". ;)
