Ok. Enough covid.

How around drink time? Oh yeah!

Do you have a picture of a drink/s you took that has a story attached? It could have been a funny conversation, or the interesting place you were at or maybe a story about the drink itself. Hey, it doesn’t even need to be an alcoholic drink either. Veggie/Fruit drinks work too.

Here’s mine:

So, I’m at Costa Club in Puerto Vallarta. I got a whole week airfare and all inclusive for a week for 349.00. Last minute sale.

Anyway, I notice the beers come in tiny glasses so I always ordered 3 at a time. My girlfriend says “3 beers....are you kidding me?”

So, I told her these are baby beers and I’m a grown man. So, I really should have got 6 baby beers but I can’t carry more than 3. However, after 3 baby beers I have teenager size. Once I go get the next 3, I now have grown a** Mans size.

She shook her head and changed the topic

I was celebrating. This was the first time I felt happiness again after my husband passed. I had just moved into my new home cottage that I completely renovated on my own. It was a big step in my journey to continue on.

My avatar. Someone offered to take our picture at the Cocoa Beach Pier, and just as they did a waiter walked by. I figured it was hard to notice any flaws, so kept the picture

We won a one night stay at Maine Island Lodge thru DownEast Magazine that included kayaking over to the island, a lobster bake and a beer tasting from Allagash Brewery. The rep came over by boat, bringing four different brews. As you might guess, everyone had a good time.

Mine is the blue drink. It's the Craftsman Bar at Disneyland's Grand Californian Hotel this past February. They didn't have any blue drinks on the menu, but I asked for one anyway. My server said he could get me a Blue Hawaii, which sounded perfect. He then had to explain to the bartenders how to make it. This was one month before Disneyland closed. My daughter and I were enjoying an incredible meal and talking about eating here again the following month. I had a reservation at a nearby hotel beginning March 14th. March 14th is the day that they closed Disneyland and we didn't get to go back.
