I was told by a Wyndham sales that when you sell your weeks the points did not transfer. I do see people interested in buying points so wondered if this was true. The added costs for points was costly and one would think that would add to the value. Guess this was just another piece of misrepresentaion from the sales people.

if you own a fixed week at a Wyndham resort you can convert it to points, at about $2300 for the first week and $900 for other weeks you might fo at the same time

Last year at about this time I purchased three fixed weeks that had already been converted to points All 385k 2011 points transferred to my account.

The purchase price was $1, which as you suggest added to the value (I wouldnt have bought the package if it hadnt already been converted)

The Wyndham salesman was lying to you to try scare you away from resale and have you buy retail from him
