Do I need to make a reservation for my fixed week/fixed unit MOC?

I am in the process of closing on a resale fixed week/fixed unit MOC 3-bedroom. Do I need to do anything to secure this reservation each year, or does the resort automatically assign the room to me?

It should automatically be assigned to you. They usually send you a email confirmation number up to 18 months in advance.........

Be sure that they link your Marriott Rewards Number (i.e. Bonvoy #) to your purchase so that you will see that email confirmation (and they place it into "upcoming reservations" on Marriott.com every year).

On my one fixed-week TS (not Marriott), I showed up for my (assumed) assigned week and found that it was the NEXT week! No emergency- it was driving distance, but since then, I've called and confirmed my ressie before making firm plans.

Agree with TheTimeTraveler. I own four fixed weeks at MOC. They automatically show up in your account 18 months before arrival.

I own event weeks 52 at MKO and Aruba Surf Club. The weeks are not automatically reserved for me. Have to call in or use website to reserve weeks.

I need to reserve units because these are fixed weeks but floating units?

I own a fixed week and fixed Villa @ Marriott's Monarch. They automatically confirm reservations for me at about 18 months out.

I’d think yes, but I’d check with room control. Since the week is fixed they have to assign it a room.

With platinum plus weeks you still have to make a reservation each year since you could reserve any of the check-in dates for that week right?

need to clarify. I own fixed weeks, fixed units at MOC...these are deposited automatically 18 months out. I own Platinum Plus at NCV. I have to reserve these myself
