Do different memberships/timeshares see different things in RCI availability?

I have HGVC and have 25,000 or so points in RCI. When I look in RCI for December 13th - 27th on Oahu, I only see two hotels that have availability from the 13th to the 20th and they are limited to 3 day reservations and still charge the full $299 fee. When my FIL looks on his RCI and he has Wyndham, he says he sees availability for numerous hotels in the same time period without a 3 day restriction.

HGVC portal into RCI has quality filters, it won't show everything FIL sees. You also cannot reserve HGVC units beyond the 9 months club season in the portal.

Can I turn the 'quality' filter off? What does that filter even mean? My FIL could see regular HHV and I cannot.

With my Wyndham RCI account, I see much more inventory for Hilton and a lot more for Maui than I do with my regular account (I don't own Hilton).

No, AFAIK. There was a thread a while ago in the HGV forums I believe. You have to call in to have the agent see/show them, I think. I could be wrong, however, as it was a few years ago I think that the thread came up
