My parents are elderly and no longer able to travel. They have 2 contracts at Desert Club Las Vegas which are both deeded weeks from the early 1990s that predate the current resort.

I am currently looking into the deedback program which I think will cost us $2400 since we have 2 contracts. But before we pull that trigger, does anyone know whether there is any resale value in that resort even if all we do is give it away for free?

I think Weeks 19-45 have some slight value, enough to maybe justify "Free, Buyer pays closing". The deeds may just be fixed weeks after resale, but the Desert Club maintenance fees seem to be low and low-cost summer/fall weeks in Vegas have some slight value even if only as an RCI-weeks trader.

If they have a Winter/Spring weeks deedback is likely in the future.

LOL, I read the title as Disposal of elderly parents. LOL

Not disposal of TS. But then I remembered where I was, on TUG.

If it were my parents I'd just have them stop paying and let things run their course. No need to throw $2,400 away.

Try to give them away, or better yet, pay the exit fee while you can . There is a chance that this could be a problem later.
