I’d planned a trip with our kids/grands at Old Key West in Disneyworld (via II exchange), but DH and I just moved cross country and we can’t go now. The kids will only be there for 3 nights/4 days, so I’m wondering if they’ll have to pay the full $175/wk resort fee? I want to give them a heads up. Thanks.

The fee is actually $190. I believe they will have to pay the full price. It isn't really a resort fee but rather you are paying the exchange fee for the DVC owner who exchanged out of their DVC points to somewhere else.

I believe the fee is $190, and I'm sure it's for the stay and won't be reduced for a reduced length of stay.

Jinx! Yes, I agree the $190 was originally calculated to be the DVC owner's exchange fee plus the incoming guest's exchange fee. However, now DVC states it's for resort amenities such as wifi, park transportation, etc. because the exchange only entitles the incoming guest to stay in the room itself. In any case, I'd tell them to expect to pay the full $190.

Absolutely the entire fee no matter how long it's used.
