We leave today! :cheer: We are only buying two single day tickets (for each person). But are they going up in price tomorrow? Should we purchase on line today?

This is why we always purchased a seven day hopper pass with no end date to lock in current prices.

If they do raise the price it will probably be 3 to 5%. 2 single-day tickets right now cost about $150 total (I think). So, that would be an additional $4.50 to $7.50 if the increase happens so don't worry yourself about it. Just go and have fun!

This anounced today:

"Tickets for those aged 10 and older to Walt Disney World in Orlando, will rise from $71 to $75, while tickets for children aged 3 to 9 will go from $60 to $63."

About a 5.6% increase.

I bought my AP's early this week and I'm not going to activate them until Nov. But I could afford to pay for them early(used some of my Visa Disney reward points also).

I would go ahead and buy them online today or at a Disney store. Why pay more than you need to. Make sure you select the option to pick them up at will call if you buy online.

We are staying at HGVC I-Drive next spring and just bought the tic's from the concierge at HGVC for what's posted as the (old) rates on Mouse Savers.

The concierge work up the price increase for us and it was about $9 on 7 day base ticket. (Magic Way....)

That's likely one or two days of car rental worth of savings.

Those tickets include transportation to and from your hotel, so you can't compare.

Universal offers a much better ticket value than Disney. But doesn't everybody?

We are going to Williamsburg, VA at the end of August and for $98 an adult and FREE for the kids we got passes for 7 days to Busch Gardens, Water Country and Colonial Williamsburg. That $200 for my family for the week, A weeks worth of passes at Disney are about 5X that amount.

I meant if you think Disney prices are too high, take a look at Universal's deal.

Doggone it! I planned on buying the tickets on Sat, AFTER I talked to DS to make absolute positive he wasn't gonna back out on me.

I had checked the prices Sat morning, and after talking to him went back Sat afternoon (Undercover Tourist) and they had a big page saying they were updating the prices!!

So even though I tried to get them on Sat there, didn't work out.
