I really dislike the change in the reservation system. I know it took effect awhile ago, but this is my first op to complain. Why is my question. It now takes longer and drives me crazy with all the check and recheck.

I might be paranoid but was this to make reservations more difficult for VIP owners with high point ownerships? I see it will definitely makes cancelling and rebooking take longer and maybe not even possible. What has been others experience with this? I did cancel and rebook today, but it took more time then ever for the reservation to drop back in and then be able to rebook. This was not a reservation I really cared if I lost so it worked out finally. My concern is with the reservations I can't afford to lose. I know the obvious answer is don't cancel and rebook. Any other suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

I think he means the "are you a human" questions

This was done I think, not so much to frustrate the cancel and re book game, but to make life difficult for the guys that have programs (bots) to auto search and book reservations

If they are stopped (assuming they exist in the first place), it ought to be easier for the rest of us to cancel and rebook

There was always a CAPTCHA though. Instead of the picture questions, you'd have to enter the letters and numbers. But CAPTCHA has been there since I've been a member.

I like the change. Most times I just need to check the box and I don't get the pictures. Most CAPTCHAs have switched to this one. Hilton HHonors for example uses the exact same mechanism.

Sales people are hearing the word "resale" more and more. Being behind the curve on "peeps like us" they are trying to salvage time spent with a "small package of points" shot across your bow, before bunting on to the next group of lambs.

Im sure you are right, but the rumor was that there were folks that had bots that could work around the old capcha. so they had to make a new one

I dont like the pictures, They all look the same to me,,,just a blur.... so I just guess

(old age aint for sissies)
