I dont play and I dont know what a reasonable cost is , but here is a link to Beachview Golf Club priced at $40-$55
Your husband might consider going off the island. The City of Fort Myers operates 2 public courses that Ive heard are excellent

When we went in August, the Beachview has a special for three days unlimited play including rental for very reasonable price. I forgot exactly how much though. The one on Captiva Island has a similar deal. We did not know until we stopped by one day. You probably have to call to see if they have any special for your dates.
