Direct Deposit of Mayan Palace Weeks

Am I allowed to direct reserve week my Mayan Palace weeks with the resort and then deposit them myself with either DAE, RCI, or other extra companies?

I have only deposited my weeks once with RCI and the Mayan Group selected one good week and one poor week to deposit.

Joyce,

The RCI sytem was changed last year so that you do not get particular weeks for exchange. You now get "Trading Power". I deposited a 2 BR MP suite as 2 weeks and got weeks with trading power of 24 and 18. I thought reasonable.
The trading power may vary and they will not tell you until you do the actual deposit.

With SFX the deposit is done directly between resort and SFX. You get either a generic 1 BR or 2 BR week as far as I know.
