Hate to start yet another CV thread but I’m worried. It’s necessary for me to travel 4 hours each way today to move DS out of the dorms for the year....as determined by the UNC system yesterday. Anyway, we always stop half way to grab some food and, more importantly, use the restroom! With all these restaurants closing their dining rooms I assume no access to the rest rooms either. I drink tons of water and empty my bladder every 2 hours on road trips to keep chronic uti’s at bay. I guess this leaves gas stations as an option with hopes they are still letting people in. No freeway rest stops available on my route but a friend said she heard those may be shut down too. Wonder how much this will affect people who do need to travel.

gas stations are critical services, they will be open. I would think restaurants that are open for carry out must have restrooms and if you buy something, I'm sure you can use it.

Not clear if you are on interstate, but truck stops can actually be cleaner than regular gas stations, and good chance of dodging kiddie carriers.
