Dining Plans at Atlantis

Does anyone have experience with the dining plans at Atlantis?

Specifically I'm wondering if they are a good deal or bad deal? Also, is it worth the additional $50 per day to get the better dining plan? Lastly, if I trade into Harborside for a week do I have to buy 7 days of dining (like Disney) or can I purchase 5 days since I would arrive late on the first day and leave early on check out day.

I did it once, but never again. Ate like a pig, but felt I was too restricted to participating restaurants. I don't suggest it.
