Did anyone see the GI Joe commercial during the superbowl?

Just curious if anyone saw or remembers the GI Joe movie commercial (the sequel) during first quarter? My DH's BFF is the writer of that movie (coming out in June) and I am curious if it made any kind of impression on anyone? I saw it and it came and went very quickly so I am not sure it was worth the $3M spot fee!!

Any thoughts? Katherine

We saw it. My 10 yo son thought it looked cool. I said I wonder if it will be in 3D. He said all the movies that come out now are in 3D.
Not a big BW fan myself.

Bruce grew up very near me; have friends whose kids were in HS with him. My friends are much older. ;)

His dad lived for years in a single wide trailer; when Bruce brought Demi back to the home town and to meet Dad, they stayed with him in the single wide. :) (After the insulation crew spray foamed the bottom of the trailer). It was a good 5 years after that before he convinced his Dad to move to the house in town he had brought him years earlier. He always visited his grandmother in the nursing home on every visit also.

I drifted away from those friends a few plus years ago - my Bruce stories are old now.

Is that the one with the guys fighting on the side of the mountain? It looks completely over the top but fun. :)

Yep, the guys dangling by rope and fighting. And some lady in a red dress fighting! LOL. Guy film but hey, I support everything Rhett does.

He wrote Zombieland so even though I never see horror flicks, I watched it about 5 times while it was in the theaters just to boost his numbers.:cheer:
